Tell it everything. Get back a planned week.
Type or say what’s on your plate, however it comes out. Assist asks about anything it would otherwise guess, turns the rest into tasks and fits them into your week. Every change has Undo.
Taskbook’s calendar with Assist open. A brain dump about a presentation, a report and two errands is typed in; Assist asks how long the slides will take and when the practice run should be, makes five tasks and a project, and Auto time-block fits them into the week around meetings.
Help with the hard parts, from Gemini.
Assist runs on Google Gemini. Ask in your own words, or type / to pick a command. Here it breaks a big task into steps you can start today.

You’re always in control.
Assist shows every change as a card with its own Undo, even after other edits. Deletions and big batches wait for your OK.
Type it the way you’d say it.
Write it like a note to yourself. The date, time, length, project, labels and priority are picked out as you type.

Questions
- How do I get started?
- Create an account with Google or an email link. There are no passwords to remember.
- What powers Assist?
- Google Gemini. Ask in your own words, or type / to pick a command like break down, review or time-block. You can use your own Claude or Gemini key instead, or switch to On-device, where the / commands still work and nothing leaves your browser.
- Will Assist change things without asking?
- Small changes apply right away, and each one has its own Undo. Deletions, anything from an attached file, and batches of more than ten changes wait for you to approve them.
- Where is my data?
- In your browser, with a copy in your account so your devices agree. Only you can read your tasks, and there’s no analytics or ad tracking.
- What does Taskbook see of my calendar?
- Only when you’re busy or free. Never event titles, guests or locations.
- Can I take my tasks with me?
- Yes. Settings → Data → Download JSON saves your tasks, projects, labels, filters and settings as a file you can import again.
- Is there a mobile app?
- Not yet. Taskbook works in your phone’s browser: the sidebar becomes a drawer and panels open full screen.
